Disappointment and a learning experience

Today was a sad day, we learned that a potential birth mother decided to give her baby to another couple. It was heart breaking because we planned and got everything ready to receive this wonderful baby into our lives and now we have to wait a little longer to be blessed with a child in our lives. We have learned a lot about the adoption process and learned a lot about what we have to do to have the opportunity to receive a child. The good news is that we are now certified through the state of Arizona to adopt which is great, we don't have to wait if the opportunity presents itself again!!! I would just like to thank the birth mother for the learning experience that will make us stronger and more aware of what we have to do to be blessed with a child in our home. This is very hard for us but in the end it will help us and bless us to know what to do in our next opportunity for a child!!!
